What is Youth Ministry? 

Youth Ministry is a program that exists to involve young people in the faith. As stated by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, youth ministry has three goals: 1) To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ, 2) To draw young people to responsible participation in the life and work of the Catholic faith community, and 3) to foster total, personal, and spiritual growth of each young person.

What is Beata Youth Ministry? 

Beata is the named program for St. Mary's Menomonee Falls youth ministry group. Beata means "Blessed," and is a title for our Blessed Mother. We entrust the spiritual formation of these young people to our Blessed Mother as they enter into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Who is Beata Youth Ministry for? 

Beata is a designed for students in middle and high school.

Is Beata required? What does it cost?

Beata is 100% optional and free to the families. It is an opportunity for the students to come together outside of school, outside of Christian Formation, and come into community with fellow Catholics. 

What events will Beata host?

While Beata will take students on trips that the parish is familiar with, like the mission trip and Steubenville, Beata will also offer opportunities for praise & worship nights, movie nights, small group meetings, seasonal outings, service, and more!
